Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own AI API key?
No. AI Fill runs through our secure server, so you never manage or pay for a separate AI provider key. It's included with Pro.
Do I need an account?
The free plan needs no account — install the extension and start recording, replaying and filling forms right away. Pro requires a quick passwordless email sign-in: we email a one-time code to confirm your address, which ties your subscription to you and unlocks AI Fill. There's no password to create or remember.
What data does the extension send to generate fills?
To generate data, AI Form Filler sends the structure and labels of the form fields (for example a field labelled "Email" or "Postcode") to our secure proxy, which forwards it to the AI provider. It does not harvest the values you personally type, and it never sells your data. See our Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Where are my profiles stored?
Profiles are stored locally in your browser by default. If you turn on sync, they're saved to your own Google Drive so they follow you across your devices — we don't keep them on a shared server.
Which browsers are supported?
AI Form Filler works on Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers, including Microsoft Edge.
Can I cancel Pro anytime?
Yes. Pro is billed monthly through Paddle and you can cancel at any time — cancellation stops the next renewal and you keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid for. See the Refund Policy.
Will it fill custom dropdowns and datepickers?
Yes. It's specifically built to handle framework components — custom dropdowns in Angular, React and Vue, datepickers, checkboxes, radios and rich-text editors — not just plain text inputs.
